Nurse volunteer program

A couple of hospitals in Manila offer nurse volunteer programs. Some collect a small fee, some allow you to volunteer for free.

St. Jude Hospital & Medical Center in Dimasalang St. (Just after UST Hospital and Infant Jesus Hospital) offers a good program for new nurses. There's a small fee of 2,000/month but they will give you a certificate at the end of your program.

East Avenue Medical Center offers a free volunteer program for new nurses. Registration is conducted every Wednesday. Just bring all your credentials with photocopies.

As with any training programs, you have to be aggressive and try to do as much as you can to learn. Be perceptive and don't be afraid to ask staff nurses or even the doctors so that you'll learn a lot.

hello po. :) yung sa EAMC po ba may certificate din po? salamat po. saka ano po yung mga credentials na yun? RLE,TOR,DIPLOMA? as in lahat lahat po?salamat po. :)

For East Ave Medical, just bring your TOR, resume with ID photo and PRC card. You'll fill out an application form there.

Appointments every Monday from 9 to 11.

hi sir, paano po kung wala pang PRC CARD? pwede kaya yung certificate from PRC? saka medyo naguluhan po ako... WEDNESDAY OR MONDAY po ba pwede pumunta? thanks po... :)

im planning to have a training there in EAMC as nurse i have some of the requirements na except yung board rating certificate ( sa oct 22 ko pa makukuha) at prc card di pa kasi narerelease ng prc.... hmmm Im loosing hope na i cant have my training agad! i really really want to have training na... any advice guys!!! thnx i hope to hear from you all!!!!

mga new registered nurses.... san na kayo nag tretraining.... naku most of the hospitals require license number eh wala pa tayu nun d b? what hospitals sana u can recommend guys na pwede to follow nalang ang licence number or that PRC CARD!

With the volunteer program, I think you need your PRC card. EAMC has volunteer registration every Wednesdays.

But there are some training seminars (1-3 days) that you can attend without your card. Try calling National Kidney Institute for their schedule.

hi! ganu ktagal ba yung volunteer program nila? How often in a week? 8 hours din yan? I'm currently working in another field and i don't know if i could fit my schedule in their program.. help!
