Good evening, I would just like to ask if its ok to send my application to Illinois even if I haven't registered in PRC yet because my registration sked is on Nov 5? Do I still need to get a temporary certification from PRC that I passed the June 07 board or I can just explain in thje application form my case? Thank you po

yes, you can start sending all the reqt's for registration. however for the license verification and ct-nur form, you'll have to wait for your license card (which may take some time before being released by the PRC). once you have your card, photocopy it and fill out a form from window 1 or 2 at the PRC. attach the license verification form from CGFNS and CTS.

Some people I know who missed their registration dates were scheduled at the end of the registration period. Which means you'll have to wait until the last day of regular registration period. But you can always call the PRC to directly ask them about your situation.

Goodluck!

hi dette, I went to PRC nung nov.9, I think there's no problem which day you prefer to go, coz'z Nov. 9 was for surnames starting with R and yet there are nurses who's surnames starts with P. I didn't have any problem while applying for my registration. They didn't ask either. Hope this helps. Thanx for your info.
About sa Oath Taking That I dont know po. Sorry po.

//How To// Applying for a license in New Zealand

Filipino nurses who wish to register with the Nursing Council of New Zealand must show proof that they are registered with the Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC) of the Philippines as a nurse and they must either 1) have completed an assessment program or 2) have earned a qualification equivalent to a New Zealand nursing qualification. Only a nursing degree earned from an Australian nursing school is deemed equivalent to a NZ nursing qualification, so unless you have the money to enroll in Australia or NZ, the best route to take is the 6-week competency assessment program. To simplify the application process, here's what you need to do: 1. Take the IELTS. A band of 7 on all parts of the exam is required by the NZ Nursing Council. An average of 7, with scores below 7 in any part will not qualify you for registration. You must consistently score at least 7 in all parts--reading, listening, writing and speaking. 2. Once you have the IELTS, contact the NZ Nursing Council. You wil
